Today's prompt is " What do you want to remember about today?" I want to remember how Lonnie Sr. came over to our house and replaced the capacitor to our central air conditioning. I did not have the money to repay him for the part, and he told me to not worry about it, and get him back when I can. I was blessed. (yesterday)
It is now 7:49 a.m. here and it is still kind of dark outside. I wonder if we are getting more rain. Yesterday was not all that productive. It was too warm in the house to get work done. I did not work on the living room. I did go to the post office and send out the photos. I did go to Lowe's foods and buy the special sausages on sale. That's about it.
Caleb was hyper yesterday, more than usual. I had my appointment with my psychiatrist. That went well. I really didn't do much after that.
Today we are going to work on the living room for sure. It is nice and cool in here finally. I want to prepare for school to start on Monday. I still need to gather the books from Caleb's room and sort through some things. I came up with a science experiment we are going to do together. We are going to take our Gatorade Zero bottles and make a life raft from them. I know it can be done because I saw a video where an African boy took water bottles and recycled them into fishing boats. I am going to find that video and show Caleb. First we are going to make a model, and use weights to determine how much weight a raft can hold. We need a raft to hold Caleb, Bella, and me in case of a flood. It's going to be fun. Caleb already has so many questions! He is excited because he loves to build things that float. This is a perfect way to teach him the scientific method.
It is a better way to reuse the Gatorade Zero bottles, rather than filling the recycling bin with them. Besides, I actually do want a life raft. You never know when you may need one.
Caleb is still asleep. Bella is still in bed. I got up because I was sweating.
Now, I just have to figure out my finances because things have changed since I last looked at my spreadsheet.
