5 Year Journal Day 201

Today's prompt is " What do you need to throw away?" The old furniture on my porch and in my house.

It is now 3:29 a.m. here. I am sweating all over, and thirsty. Yesterday I was able to sleep in. I got up around 10:30, had soup for brunch, and took my medications. I was super slow getting started working on the kitchen. I managed to load the dishwasher fully and run it, clean off the syrup and stains from the stove top and stove front, and handwash some dishes. I swept a portion of the kitchen floor, and picked up quite a bit of recycling and trash. I prepared a crockpot dinner, but I was 2 hours late starting to cook it. I made chicken chili. I still have a pile of dishes that need to be handwashed waiting on me. Before I really got started cleaning and cooking, I lit 3 red cinnamon candles, and 1 nag champa incense stick. I put on some music on my phone and sang my way through my work, like a cleaning cadence.

I finally watered some of the plants, and Caleb watered some of the plants. It was dark and gloomy when I woke up, and I woke up tired.

Later in the day, I went out to pick up some of Caleb's medications from the pharmacy. On the way home we stopped by Lowe's Foods to pick up some Diet Mountain Dew that was on sale.

I was hoping dinner would be ready when we got home, but when I cut open a piece of chicken, it was not cooked all the way through. So, I made some sandwiches and Caleb made himself ramen noodles. I stayed up and took my medications and waited for the chili to finish cooking and then went to lay down.

Stella got her package last night and loved it! Woop woop! Yay!

The other 2 ladies should get their packages today.

I am waiting to send the last 2 packages out until I get paid.

I received a package from my Granny and Pepere yesterday! It was filled with goodies! There were all kinds of cooking utensils, dish towels, hand scrub wash, face serum, and face lotion, a necklace, a couple of fancy pens, a notebook, and a card! Oh my goodness! It was full of stuff! I thought it was oranges or maybe grapefruits, so I opened it because I did not want them to rot. LOL It was not fruit.

I think I got both my Lane Bryant packages I was waiting for.

I called my Granny and Pepere to thank them, and spoke with them for awhile. They make me laugh. We never have a conversation without talking about ginger.

I talked with Violet for a little while, but Caleb kept interrupting me, and telling me to hang up the phone. He was jealous that I wasn't paying attention to him.

Today I will be doing more house cleaning. Hopefully I will start earlier than I did yesterday and get more done before dinner time. When dinner time comes, that is usually the end of my day. I don't work after dinner.

Caleb spilled syrup on the floor so I definitely have to clean the floor in the kitchen. I am trying to get as much trash and recycling out of the house as possible. That is always one of my goals. Reduce clutter.

This weekend we will be trying to stay at home. I really want to be able to get alot of cleaning done before next week starts. I also want to be able to rest and enjoy what I am doing. Being able to listen to music and sing makes it less like work, and more like fun. My mind is not only on what I am working on. I really need to conquer the hallway bathroom. First I have to conquer the kitchen.

I need to figure out what to put in those gift boxes too.

I almost forgot that Alisa and her kids brought over gift bags for us yesterday morning. They were awesome! Caleb got a sketch book and drawing pencils that he loves and has been using, along with some other things. I got a tumbler and reusable straws, and some other things. They even brought a bag for Bella! How sweet!

I got the nasal spray I wanted from the VA.

I am tired. I have alot of work to do when I get up. I need to take my iron and orange juice.
