5 Year Journal Day 207

Today's prompt is "If you could hire any artist (living or dead) to paint your portrait, who would you pick?" I would pick Alex Grey.

It is now 2:26 a.m. here. Yesterday was a slow moving day. I did not do much. I did get down to clean the carpet by hand with Caleb's help. We also took Bella to have her nails taken care of professionally. Then we went to Auto Zone to see if they could charge the Mazda battery. I ended up buying a battery charger instead.

I got a card in the mail from my friend at the Fayetteville VA hospital in the sleep clinic. She sent a check! I wasn't expecting anything. I was hoping for a card... Gas money!

I asked my Aunt Lisa for financial assistance to cover the cost of groceries, because I had to use my grocery money to buy the battery charger so that I can fix my Mazda battery problem. She sent money. I can't tell her how much I appreciate her help. I wish I did not need help so frequently. I wish I could rent out the guest room to make some money.

Pastor Rick came by, and we had communion. He brought a gift from Oceanview United Methodist Church to help through the holidays. I was not expecting what we received. It was ALOT of help! I wanted to cry.

I asked him to explain to Caleb what communion was, so Caleb could make a choice of whether he wanted to participate or not. Ultimately, when it came time to have communion, Pastor Rick influenced Caleb to take it.

I wrote Pastor Rick a letter of gratitude with details of how the gift helped us.

Today is Saturday. There are no appointments. The Great Conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter is coming up, as well as the Winter Solstice (which I do not know the date of), and Christmas.

I have settled down from the whole Violet thing.

I do not have much to say right now. I am in a moment of peace as I just paid down some debts.

I chatted with Donna yesterday. I chatted with Billy too. LOL
