Today's prompt is " Who loves you today?" Caleb!
It is now 4:23 a.m. and I am awake because I got too warm and could not cool off, and because I became really thirsty and ran out of things to drink. Yesterday was a doozie! We opened the box to the new crock pot, and it is huge! I knew I bought a 10 quart crock pot, I just didn't imagine there would be that big a difference between the old crock pot and the new one. I decided to cook pork butt roast with chili beans to test the new crock pot out. It worked fabulously!
So, we ate fajitas the night before last. I had a fajita around 2 a.m., and also for brunch around 10:30 a/m. , so when I had to go to the bathroom, I was not surprised when I had a loose stool. As a matter of fact, I was pleasantly surprised. However, throughout the day I had I run to the bathroom at least 4 different times. I became in so much pain that I did not want to leave the bathroom. I needed adult help. I needed someone to bring me some pepto bismol. I got a hold of Shannon, and she was able to bring some to the house. She suspected that I had a stomach virus, and that one was going around. I'm thankful I reached her, and she was able to help.
Caleb had his appointment yesterday, and afterwards we came home to pick up Bella and go to the beach. I found a parking spot finally, and we began to walk towards the beach. We had to cross a dune to get to the beach. It was not easy for me to do. Caleb wanted to go boogie boarding. Bella and I walked to edge of where the waves were hitting and watched Caleb come in on the waves. Bella kept entangling me in the leash by walking around me in circles. I was not able to stand for long, as the sand hurt my feet. The idea of going out there with Bella was to take her for a walk. I thought I could let Caleb play in the water for a little while and then we could go for a walk. I could not stay out there long enough. My feet were killing me. I called Caleb inland, and told him we needed to go, but he did not want to go. He went back out into the water, making me stand on my feet even longer. It was a beautiful sunny day with a cool breeze. I finally got Caleb to come back to go, but then we could not find where we had entered the beach! We walked passed the walkway across the dune because we did not see where we needed to go. I was having a hard time walking in the sand. When we found where we needed to cross the dune, I was already getting out of breath. It took everything I had to cross that dune because of its steep slope. I didn't think I was going to make it, but I pushed until I crossed over and make it to solid ground in the parking lot. By then I was hyperventilating, and my face was dark red as and my lips were darker than usual. I was not getting the oxygen I needed to make it to the Mazda. My lower gut was in pain, and I did not know why at the time. My feet were in pain. I had just moved my entire 327 lbs. over a 4 foot dune. I made it to the Mazda and about passed out. I could not catch my breath. I cooled down in the shade of the Mazda, with the air conditioner on and began to focus on my breathing to calm down. I think my blood pressure shot right up all of a sudden when I climbed over that dune. After I settled down, we drove home. I got inside the house and had to run to the bathroom! It hurt so bad! That's when I knew I needed someone to help me. No wonder my lower gut was hurting. I was having bad diarrhea all day. I thought it was because of the amount of bell peppers I used in the chicken fajitas I made. I was wrong.
I did not know if I should eat dinner, but I knew I needed to take my medications, so I ate dinner. Not five minutes after finishing eating, did I have to run to the bathroom again! It was awfully painful. I took my medications and went to lay down to relieve some of my pain. Thankfully Shannon was already on her way over. I took the pepto bismol as soon as I got it.
So that was my day. I described it to my Aunt Lisa as "Heaven and Hell wrapped in a flour tortilla." LOL
I am sooo thirsty. I need to wash my water jug out and fill it. Then I am going back to bed. I need more sleep.
