5 Year Journal Day 19

Today's prompt is " List three things you ate today." That's easy! For dinner I ate chicken thighs and seasoned black beans cooked in the crock pot, and cabbage.

I got a call from my primary care today. She explained my lab results to me. Apparently the cause for so many out-of-range measures, is chronic low-grade inflammation. I have to change my diet to anti-inflammatory foods. First I have to figure out what those are. I also now know what numbers I need to reach to be "non-diabetic" and also to get off my high-blood-pressure medication. The other thing is that I need to exercise. Also, I am supposed to reduce stress. That being said, I need to do what I said I wanted to do daily, yesterday.

I've collected more photos. The photos prior to this post were from my Facebook account. These pictures are from the black external hard drive. Looking through these old pictures really uplifts my spirit. It reminds of the good times that I have long forgotten. I have many more to share.
