5 Year Journal Day 29

Today's prompt is " What was the last TV show you watched?" I don't watch much tv, but I did catch an "Ancient Aliens" episode the other day.

I have been trying to sleep through the night but I still wake up every few hours. I wake up in the morning tired. I sleep with a CPAP, but I don't know what is keeping me from sleeping. It's exhausting.
Rachel arrived yesterday, and it's awesome! I didn't get as far as I wanted in the house cleaning, but I briefed her well in advance of making plans to visit. I hope she decides to stay for a while. I don't know when I will be able to see her again. She only lives about 3 hours away, but even that is far for me to drive.
Bella has already cuddled to Rachel in the recliner. LOL Caleb has played video games with Rachel. She's awesome! Also, she said it smells good in my house! I was worried because I have been cooking fish lately, plus I don't smell that great. I'm usually congested. You know, going nose blind is a real thing. I haven't had company in forever. I worry about theses things.

Today is one of my bill paying days, so I'm going to try to keep this short as I have to do that. I have shared all the pictures I have available for now. I have to find the others first.
This week my goal is to walk 5 days. Last week I only walked 4 days. I was successful yesterday. Walking was the last thing I did before going to bed because I just didn't want to do anything. I was tired most of the day because Caleb woke me up at 6:50 am. I tried to take a nap, but my brain wouldn't go to sleep.
I went to the eye doctor yesterday, and got good news. I see 20/20 with my glasses. I have no signs of pressure on my optic nerve. I have no signs of diabetes in my eyes. I don't have to return for a year! I also got some eye drops to relieve my chronic dry eye.
I wore a new outfit out yesterday! It was a jumpsuit. I have never worn a jumpsuit before, but I thought the model looked really cute in it. It's really comfortable.

I wanted to take some pictures with Rachel when she got here, but I didn't think about it until I had already changed back into my house cleaning clothes. Now, my hair is all jacked up from sleeping with a CPAP mask on. LOL It looks like it's getting long finally. I love my hair long, but it's a lot of work.
I just found out that the journal I ordered from Amazon for Caleb is not available. It was a Lego journal. He would have loved it. Now I have to go shopping for another one, and wait even longer to get it.
Don't tell the diabetes Police, but Caleb shared a Reese's with me yesterday. I ate 1 piece very slowly and intentionally. It was delicious. I don't normally eat candy at all. Also, Caleb made lunch for me, ramen noodles. I'm not really supposed to be eating carbs, but I needed food quickly as I could feel myself getting low. I needed calories because I had not eaten anything for breakfast, like I should have. I am supposed to take my morning meds with food. I got distracted and didn't eat anything.
I hope we have at least one sunny day while Rachel is here. I want to take her to the beach. It is supposed to rain for the next 2 weeks according to the Weather Channel forecast. I want to take lots of pictures of us having good times. I have no pictures of us since high school. Cameras just weren't as readily available back in the dark ages. LOL  It's like we are having our very own 20 year high school reunion. She's the only person I would care to see. I don't care to catch up with people who haven't sought me out since then. Seems like a waste of time.
Well, I've got a lot of work ahead of me... until tomorrow!
