5 Year Journal Day 117

Today's prompt is "How much spare change do you have?" An unknown amount at the bottom of my purse.

It is now 1:55 a.m. and I woke because I wanted a drink. Yesterday started off ok, but Caleb left to go the park even after I told him no. I was up early and needed to take a shower. I don't like him being gone when I am showering or sleeping. I did finally take a shower when he came back home. We took our morning meds, and I had cereal for breakfast before we left to Caleb's appointments. He had 2 appointments, back to back, in the same office. His first appointment was with his psychiatrist, and his second appointment was with his therapist. Once they were over, we came back home and had lunch. I went to lay down after lunch and wait for my phone call appointment. I completed my phone call appointment, and my back was killing me. My pelvis was hurting too. I decided I needed a nap. I woke up almost 2 hours later, still in agonizing pain. I went back to sleep after using the bathroom, and getting a drink. I woke up around 5 p.m. I told Caleb he would have to make dinner because I hurt too much. He was happy to do it. He made what we are calling "Mac a weenies", which is Velveeta shells and cheese and hot dogs. He also made a side of green beans. He says it's important to get your fiber! LOL I only got up to prepare and take my night time medications. I made sure he fed Bella, and gave her plenty of water. I made sure he fed himself too. Caleb helped me apply the maximum strength Icy Hot balm to my shoulders and neck. He applied the Icy Hot back patches to my lower back. I applied the Icy Hot balm to my knees and pelvis. It makes such a difference! I wish I had thought to do that earlier, because I might have been able to have a normal afternoon.

I didn't do anything to cause the pain. It just came out of nowhere, just like it did Sunday. I hope it passes quickly.

I am not in so much pain now. I have been able to rest, but I kept waking up, getting sweaty.

Today I should be getting paid, so I will pay the bills as soon as the direct deposit hits my account. We are going to go to the food pantry to pick up some food being offered to those on food stamps. That should help us quite a bit this month.

I got my new e-cigarette and battery charger in the mail yesterday. Woop woop!

I think I might need to buy new batteries because the ones I have are not holding a charge. I have had them for a long time. They might just be dead.

I went ahead and ordered new batteries. If I buy them from a store here, I will likely pay double for the same product.

I feel like working but my deposit has not come in yet, so all I can do is wait. I don't know what to do with myself. I can't vape right now. My batteries are not working.

I guess I will try to sleep until my alarm goes off to wake up.
